In a bit of a mixup in terms of reporting, Katie Strang has moved up in the sports journalism world and joined the team at ESPN New York to cover all of the metro area teams including the Isles, Rangers and Devils. Arthur Staple, a backup beat writer who is very knowledgeable of both the Islanders and Rangers, will be taking over and you can follow him at his Twitter account for constant updates regarding the Islanders. There is no indication of whether Staple is the permanent replacement or just a temp, but best wishes to Katie, and welcome aboard Arthur!
